FAQ - ROCK-OLA MUSIC CENTERS
The Music Center interface is so intuitive and versatile, once you see it you'll never think of your music library the same way again. That said, we receive similar questions from many people and share some of them here:

Q: How about wireless; will I require additonal equipment to network using my home wireless hub?
A: Yes. You'll need a wireless adapter, such as the Linksys Wireless A/G Gaming Adapter. You may purchase this, as well as other jukebox accessories, at the Rock-Ola On-Line Store.

Q: Can I play my iPod on the Music Center?
A: No. However, if your Music Center is part of your home PC network, it can share music files stored on other network devices. This feature gives your Music Center access to any music you have downloaded onto your laptop or PC, as long as all devices are networked together.

Q: Can I download iPod music files to the Music Center?
A: No. At this time iPod® synchronization is one-way; that is, you can compile and upload playlists to your iPod®, but music cannot be downloaded to or played on the Music Center from the iPod®.

Q: Is a special cable required to sync the iPod with the Music Center?
A: No. The standard USB cable that comes with the iPod® plugs right into the Music Center port.

Q: I have one of the first Nostalgic Music Centers. Is there an upgrade available so I can get these other features?
A: Yes, and upgrade kit is available. Please contact our Customer Service department for more information and ordering.

Q: How will future upgrades be delivered?
A: Updates and upgrades for the Music Center products version 2.1 and higher will be delivered during the regular maintenance cycle as they are released. As long as your Music Center has a broadband connection during scheduled and periodic maintenance cycles, the updates will be made to your Music Center.
